Selected work
Described without identification of clients, in accordance with our engagement terms.
A printer fault that was a server fault
A call about printing answered by the engineer who had rebuilt the server. The cause was identified during the call itself.
A transition that took a day
A client who moved to us holding none of their own credentials. Recovering them took longer than the migration.
A restore test that failed
A scheduled restore that did not complete. Found during testing rather than during an incident, and corrected.
A project we quoted lower
An office move where the client expected a full refresh. Most of the hardware was serviceable and we said so.
A client who outgrew us
An organization that reached the size where an internal IT team made sense. We said so and assisted with the handover.
What clients ask before engaging
Who answers when we call?
An engineer who holds your account. There is no triage desk and no first-line script.
Who holds administrative credentials?
You do. Access, licences, and documentation are held in your name throughout.
Do you mark up hardware?
No. Hardware and licences pass through at supplier cost and we retain no vendor rebate.
Are backups actually tested?
Yes, on a schedule, with your team present. A backup that has never been restored is an assumption.
Why are you not the cheapest?
Because direct access requires a lower client-to-engineer ratio, and that is the main cost of the service.
