The person who answers the phone is the person who fixes it

No triage desk, no ticket queue, no first-line script. When you call Crestwood, an engineer who knows your systems picks up and starts work. That is the whole of our service model.

The model

Most managed IT is a queue with a contract attached

You call your provider. Someone reads from a script, confirms the problem is real, and raises a ticket. Later, an engineer who has not spoken to you reads a summary of what you said and forms a view. Somewhere in that chain, the specific thing you noticed gets lost.

The structure exists for good commercial reasons. Triage protects expensive engineers from cheap questions, and it allows a provider to carry far more clients per engineer than would otherwise be possible.

The cost lands on the client. Issues take longer, detail is lost in transcription, and the engineer arrives without the context that was available in the first thirty seconds of the call.

We removed the layer. Calls reach an engineer who holds your account and knows your environment. We carry fewer clients per engineer as a direct consequence, and we price accordingly.

Triage exists to protect expensive engineers from cheap questions. The cost of it lands on the client.

An engineer who has seen your network before

Each client is held by a named engineer with a named second. They have worked in your environment, they hold the documentation, and they answer when you call.

You are not introduced to someone new every time something breaks.

Network documentation and server records
Documentation

Your credentials and your records stay yours

Administrative credentials, licence records, network documentation, and vendor accounts are held in your name and accessible to you throughout.

Ending the relationship should be an administrative task, not a recovery operation.

In practice

What this costs us

We carry fewer clients per engineer. Direct access is only meaningful if the engineer has capacity to answer, so our ratios are well below what this industry considers efficient.

Our monthly fee is not the cheapest available. A provider running a triage layer can quote lower, and we explain precisely what the difference buys rather than competing on the headline figure.

We take no vendor rebates. Hardware and licences are passed through at supplier cost, which removes a revenue line most managed providers depend on.
